Mission Statement
We at A.C.AUDIO are dedicated to easing the complexities of purchasing home theater and stereo equipment. We believe that the general population can and will make informed buying decisions that will bring years of satisfactory listening and viewing pleasure. A.C. Audio Information A.C. AUDIO is owned by Anthony Pozos of Costa Mesa, California. His love of music and interest in the home theater industry prompted him to create a company in 1993 that would continue to educate and inform the dedicated audio population on the 'mysteries' surrounding the audio/video field. He has taken aim specifically at those with existing low to mid-range systems and has endeavored to help them to intelligently and realistically purchase a system that lives up to its name in value and performance. He at present is working closely with the Weltronics corporation to provide his clients with the quality products that will result in many years of listening pleasure. History of AMC: AMC is the latest in a series of product lines from the IEEE Group. IEEE is a well-reputed company in the manufacturing industry, with a history spanning 20 years. AMC produces both vacuum tube and semiconductor based products. Amongst the type of products manufactured in the line are surround-sound processors, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, CD players, subwoofers, and in-wall speakers, room-to-room A/V selectors, a universal remote control, modules, and digital-to-analog converters. AMC designs these products with simplicity as a rule rather than the exception, which allows ease not only of use but aesthetic integration as well. The AMC product line is researched and developed in South Pasadena, California. Our chief engineer is Peter Bath. Thanks to Peter, AMC has its own sound field known as PBX(Peter Bath Experiment), the circuitry of which enhances traditional stereo sound. Through PBX, he made it possible for AMC to offer to the consumer the ability to calibrate their home theater system by means of a microphone. Thus, anyone could professionally adjust each speaker in their home to its optimal level of performance. The president of IEEE and the father of AMC, Amcli Lin, created the product line with the philosophy of value in mind. He believes that high end audio systems should not be unattainable because of price. The AMC product line, therefore sells at a high price-to-performance ratio. This allows the line to compete with the other products which can cost as much as three to five times more. AMC's main benefits as a product line in general include modular upgradeability, product integration, and system assembly. By making the products upgradeable by means of interchangeable modules, one has the ability to use the same unit with economical results over a long term period, as opposed to replacing it with a new expensive product every few years.
